This model, offered with TIAlN (Titanium-aluminum-nitride) coating, consists of a standard 1.3343 (HSS DMo5) main body structure with high hardness and toughness.

TiAlN is a versatile type of coating and is a chemical compound of the elements titanium, aluminum and nitrogen. The coating thickness is 1-4 micrometers (μm) and the surface hardness is around 3400 HV. The coating offers high resistance to heat and oxidation. Its electrical and thermal conductivity is lower than the Tin series and it is more resistant to high temperatures.

It is especially suitable for cutting operations on medium and high alloy steels and stainless series materials.
