WERTE SKYcut

In the structure obtained by combining ceramic and a suitable metal material, shaping and sintering; Ceramic-metal mixture SERMET (Cermet) circular saw blades are produced, benefiting from the strength and toughness of metallic and the thermal resistance of ceramic.

Carbon content % 0.45, max. Suitable for low and medium alloyed steels with a hardness of up to 35 HRc, these models are suitable for cutting solid materials in circular, square or polygonal forms.

Suitable saw speed range: V= 70 m/min ~ 120 m/min
Suitable feed rate: Sz= 0.035 mm ~ 0.07 mm

The advantages of these models used in fast cutting CNC machines are as follows;

• High accuracy and tolerance,
• Smooth surface quality,
• High cutting rates with the combination of appropriate technical parameters and well-maintained machines,
• High cutting rates with the combination of appropriate technical parameters and well-maintained machines,
• Minimum vibration and sound during cutting,
• Minimum distortion rate on the saw body even with high cutting quantities,
• Depending on the material type, 3 to 5 times faster cutting compared to strip or similar cutting methods.

NOTE: Cermet-tipped circular saws are not suitable for high-alloy steels as well as stainless, nickel, titanium and case-hardened or fully heat-treated material types.
